With the Cumberland Valley System, brothers Bill and Wayne Reid announced their arrival on the scene as two of the best model railroaders in the business. Their N scale CVS is home to some of the most beautiful scale scenery and intricate track systems, which traverses four neighboring states and is comprised of five different railroads. This 22′ x 38′ layout of the bustling railroad grid that runs throughout much of the Appalachian Mountains is a feast for the eyes, with its rolling forests, immaculate passes and tunnels and impressively constructed rail industry towns.

In this segment, host Allen Keller visits the site of the Cumberland Valley System to take a tour of Bill and Wayne’s remarkable Appalachian railroad. You’ll follow along as Western Maryland’s Engine 83 traverses the rails, making its stops, switches and blocks en route to Shippensburg, PA. You don’t want to miss this fantastic railroad!
