Travelling Bob Hayden's Carrabasset & Dead River Railway

You’ll get an upclose look at Bob Hayden’s spectacular handywork on his HO scale recreation of the C&DR, tailing Engine 35 in its travels from station in the small railway town of North Freeman to its final stop in the hidden staging area of Carrabasset.

Follow Engine 35 along its journey as it pulls the day’s load of coal-stocked gondolas over Sandy River, through Kennebec Port and up to Carrabasset via Summit and the Carrabasset River Gorge. Bob’s layout is truly one to remember for its beautiful landscapes and perfectly pieced together waterside townships.
